Remote simultaneous interpretation, or RSI, is live interpretation delivered by interpreters who connect from another location. They listen to the original contribution and speak into a separate language channel with a short delay. First, the organiser defines the languages, schedule and format. The interpreting team receives the agenda and briefing materials.
